Pre & Post Care Information

At Revive Skin and Body, we believe beautiful skin and true restoration begin long before and continue long after your treatment.

Your pre and post care are an essential part of the journey, helping your skin and nervous system work together for lasting results. Pre-care prepares your skin, body and mind to receive the most from your treatment, allowing deeper repair, relaxation and renewal.

Post-care supports your skin’s healing and integration process, helping to maintain results, calm inflammation, and extend your glow.

We’ll guide you with simple, personalised steps before and after each treatment so your experience feels effortless, safe and deeply restorative inside and out.

Pre-Care Guide

  • 3-4 Days before your appointment

    Avoid exfoliating acids, retinol or strong active ingredients to prevent irritation.

    Pause at-home peels, waxing, or hair removal on the face or treatment area.

    Focus on hydration, drink plenty of water and nourish your skin with gentle, barrier-supportive products.

    Prioritise rest where possible, a calm nervous system helps your body integrate the treatment more deeply.

  • Day Of Your Treatment

    Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin (if possible).

    Avoid caffeine and alcohol before your session to support full relaxation.

    Have a light meal and hydrate well.

    If you arrive a few minutes early take a few moments to settle in and shift into a slower rhythm before we begin.

Post-Care Guide

Your treatment continues to work long after you leave the studio. These simple steps will help your skin heal, restore balance, and extend the benefits of your facial or body treatment.

  • Keep your skin hydrated with gentle, nourishing products that support the barrier.

  • Allow your skin to rest, avoid makeup, exfoliation or active skincare (like retinol, AHAs/BHAs, or vitamin C) for at least 48 hours.

  • Avoid heat exposure such as saunas, hot showers or intense workouts for 24 hours.

  • Drink plenty of water and prioritise rest, your nervous system and skin continue to recalibrate as you unwind.

  • Always apply SPF before going outdoors, even on cloudy days.

After your treatment

  • Listen to your body, if you feel called to slow down or rest, honour that. Your results are amplified when your body is in a calm, regulated state.

  • Continue using gentle products and avoid anything that feels tight, dry, or sensitising.
